How we build
Terracotta brick laid in stack bond. Board-formed concrete left honest. Sawn teak. Lime plaster the colour of wet sand. The material palette is the design, and it is chosen for a climate that punishes anything applied to a surface rather than being the surface.
Every room opens onto water or planting. Every villa has its own pool. Nothing here needs repainting in three years, which matters more in Bali than it does anywhere with a winter.
